About the event
This gathering is for those grieving the loss of a beloved animal companion, as well as those caring for an aging or declining pet.
What can feel most unbearable after a pet crosses over is not only missing their physical presence, but fearing the loss of the love, connection, and relationship itself.
But love does not suddenly end when the body does.
Many people continue to experience connection with their animals after they cross over — through signs, felt presence, dreams, inner communication, and quiet moments of knowing. Yet grief can deeply impact the nervous system, making it harder to feel grounded, open, and connected to what is still there.
Together with the donkeys, we’ll create space to slow down, soften the intensity of grief, and gently reconnect with the ongoing bond we share with our animals.
